Dumb is not stupid

It's not possible to overestimate, what the effects are, if you're limited physically and not able to talk at the same time. It was  a startling discovery to find out how dominant words and talking are. And how most people have lost every interest in communicating in a different way.
If you don't talk, for many people you become a mirror in which they see themselves and their prejudices projected,  but not you as the person you are.
Not only are you becoming invisible, if you 're not heard.To be unable to talk is frustrating in itself, because  communicating is one of the most basic human needs.
On school  Kiki is totally dependent on the skill  of her partners in communication. As she is involved with a lot of different people, we're always busy learning them Kiki's language instead of Kiki learning what she should learn.

That is why we are very eager  to let Kiki talk using the computer.Kiki knows enough language now to express herself (her level of writing is sufficient).
The bottleneck on this moment is the accessebility of the computer. Many solutions  are on the market right now , but we still haven't found the right one.We're still experimenting.
I will give a few examples for improving the accessebility of the computer below (page 6,7 and 8).
Next to being the ideal communication tool ,the computer is also of upmost importance to create a good situation and content to learn.
