Learning
We started language learning with picto's .We soon
found out language is a much richer way of communicating. We 're grateful, that she is smart enough to cope with reading and
writing.
By watching Sesamestreet Kiki learned the letters
quite easily.
To exercise writing i made a lettercard (my copyright, downloadable
here ).
She chooses first one of the six squares; there is a
line drawn between the two right and middle squares(from bottom to
top); this sets apart the left four squares; if she choose for example
the left upper square we know it must be a,b,c or d; now by pointing a
second time (upper left:a;upperright square means b, etc.)and choosing
one of the four left squares she chooses her letter. This is a way
to write solely by pointing and without too much hassle.
After writing words we started reading easy books but
this seems not to rewarding for her; probably it is too tiring. On the
computer she likes language learning and spelling a lot.
Kiki is 10 years(19-9 -91) and a little or not behind from her peers.
