In October 1997, I finished my study of Information Technological
Science (ITW) at Eindhoven University of
Technology. Now I am a senior research scientist at the
"Natuurkundig Laboratorium" from
Philips Research in
Eindhoven. Currently, Philips is building a
High Tech Campus
at 'our' existing Nat.Lab. site. During October 2000, I went to
Silicon Valley (better known as the San Francisco bay area to non-techies)
for my work. As you can tell from the pictures, I had a great time there.
Especially during the weekends and in the evenings of course! :c)
In fact, I enjoyed my stay in the USA so much, that I went back for a 25 day
vacation in July 2001. Together with Maurice (one of my
IT92 friends), I visited numerous touristic sites at the West Coast of the
USA (California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona), and the Big Island of Hawaii.
In 1999, I went to a great heavy metal festival, called
Dynamo Open Air. If you want to

In the same year, I also grouped up with some other formula 1 fans, and we
went to Spain to see the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Barcelona. Follow

Together with some friends who also started to study "Informatie
Techniek" at Eindhoven University in 1992, I form a group called IT92.

I am 31 years old and grew up in a small town in the south of the Netherlands
called Sint Odiliënberg. I am a big fan of
MetallicA, but of course I also like
to listen to other music (for example
Sepultura,
Skunk Anansie, Guano Apes,
the Offspring,
Korn,
U2,
Nirvana, Simple Minds,
Dire Straits, Vangelis,
Bryan Adams, etc.).
In my (rare) spare time I like to go out, go
karting, do some other
exciting things or watch
formula 1/
CART racing. My favorite TV shows are:
the X-files, Star Trek Voyager,
Friends,
and RTL Formule 1.
I also like to watch movies, especially the
Star Wars series. Of course I also like to play computer games, surf the
web and chat every once in a while...
