Herringbone Gloves

These are the Herringbone Gloves, from a pattern on a Japanese website, which can be found here.
I first heard about this wonderful pattern on Lisa's blog. She also gives some links to other Herringbone pictures and comments.

I really enjoyed knitting these. Although the pattern is in Japanese, because of the clear charts it was easy to follow. Somehow, I made the thumb on the second glove a tiny bit too short, and of course I discovered this only after I had cut the yarns and sewn in all the threads... But I was a good girl and redid it rightaway!

I used 2mm needles and yarn by Fortissima: 75% wool, 25% polyamid, 50g = 210m. Color #50 (grey-green) and #04 (nearly solid black). Gauge: 10 st/inch
