Cat 460

The Cat 460 is a catamaran built by Robbe.
The boat is a down scaled copy of the Prindel 16.
The Cat 460 is a fast catamaran but not very stable.
The model suffered from diving and stability problems.
The older boats intend to dive with the bow.
Later models (Cat 460B) have anti diving plates on the bow to overcome this problem.
To make the cat very stable and fast I have made an additional set of beams of 780 mm instead of the original 550 mm.

The result is a stable and fast catamaran wich can be sailed on one hull (by an experianced helmsman).

 Cat 460:

 Hight mast :         1750 mm
