Another up-date on the CenturianChaos.com website with lots of reviews about our latest "Liber ZarZax" CD as well as reveiws of the "Of Purest Fire" and "Choronzonic Chaos Gods" CD. Got one thing to tell about the LP version of "Liber ZarZax" released by Perverted Taste Records. We made a statement right after the release but forgot to spread it because of all what was happening aroung Centurian about that time. Here's how we feel about the LP version:

Talking about statements.I still promised to come up with a statement about the break up of the band at the end of April 2002. Here's what I found at the Listenable website:

Lots of new reviews added to the review section of "Liber ZarZax". Still great ones are coming in. Can't believe the ammount of mail I suddenly get, but I believe it has to do with the release of "Liber ZarZax" in Brazil. Didn't know about this time this week. Hail Chaos !!!

After the band broke up, I haven't up-dated this site and I haven't been in contact with a lot of people but last few months I've been overwhelmed with fanmail and letters from all over the world which made me realize what Centurian did in the last few years. A reunion will not happen, but I at least can make sure this site will keep you informed about what happens around Centurian, cause there's still a lot of Centurian attention in magazines and at the web. Especially after the release of the latest CD "Liber ZarZax" in the US (early '02) and in Brazil (Late '02). Next to continue the work on the site I will answer my mails again and I will do some interviews as well.

Breaking News !!! CENTURIAN suddenly broke-up. An official statement will come soon, don't believe all the rumors you hear!!! All gigs are cancelled and I have a lot of work explaining things. No responses from the labels ????

Another up-date on this site. A lot of new live pictures are added at the Gallery page and there's some more news about gigs and tours. Also lots of new reviews of our latest "Liber ZarZax" CD are added, so go check it out. I reached the magical age of 33 this week. Damned !!

CENTURIAN is back at the European mainland after supporting VADER at their "Conquering the Islands" tour through Ireland, Schotland and the U.K.. Together with the Vader and Dew-Scented dudes we had a great time showing those guys some real Death Metal. Most of the time we spend at the bus or carrying the equipment but during the gigs we made the best of it. Read the whole tour report here. (will follow soon)

Latest news about our show at the Fuck The Commerce festival is: we will play at Friday night, the 10th of May, from 20:00 till 20:45.

Two days before our tour with Dew-Scented and Vader: The new CENTURIAN T-shirts and longsleeves are finally ready !!! Results are absolutely great, check out the merchandise page for details and ordering info.

CENTURIAN will be headlining the "Gothenborg Death Fest" at June the 1st, 2002 in Gothenborg / Sweden. CENTURIAN will also play at the Fuck The Commerce Open Air Festival at May 09/10/11 at Neiden, Germany and the "Under the Black Sun" Open Air Festival at July 05/06 at Wolfslake (near Berlin) / Germany. See gigs section for details about these festivals.

CENTURIAN will tour Ireland, Schotland and the U.K. in March together with the Polish blastmasters of VADER. The dates are allready mentioned at the gigs section, more details follow soon. We are also busy arranging some festivals for this summer, in the next up-date you'll find dates and places. If you can help us getting more gigs please contact us.

The "Liber ZarZax" CD was voted 'Best Dutch Metal CD' at a contest by Dutch Metal webzine Holland's Metaal.

The "Liber ZarZax" CD was voted 'Metal Album of the Year 2001' in the daily paper Helsingborgs Dagblad (Sweden)

The "Liber ZarZax" CD will be released in the US and in Canada at February the 5th by Olympic Recordings. Olympic Recordings is known for bands as Monstrosity, Macabre, Angelcorpse, Diabolic and many more. Olympic Recordings distributes their CDs through Century Media and therefor the CD will be available everywhere. CENTURIAN is very glad about this deal and hopes this deal also help getting them back to the US as soon as possible to promote the "Liber Zarax" CD on stage. CENTURIAN will play a five date promotion tour in France together with No Return. Places are not known yet but first gig will be at december 5 and the last one at December 9. Keep your eye on our gigs section for more details.

First Magazine reviews of the new "Liber ZarZax" CD are coming in after Listenable Records have started spreading the promo CDs. Here are some:

I hope to put more reviews here next week, Listenable is starting up a good promotion campaign so all the well known mags get their promo packet soon. Next to the reviews we also did a lot of interviews last few weeks for a lot of very well known magazine like Legacy, Terrorizer, Necromance, Hard Rock and many more so there will be plenty of interesting stories to read in the coming months.

Last month CENTURIAN recorded "Blasphemy" again for an "Tribute To Morbid Angel" CD. The CD will be called: "TYRANTS FROM THE ABYSS - A Tribute to MORBID ANGEL" and will be released by HELLSPAWN RECORDS together with NECROPOLIS RECORDS. Some very great bands will be part of it: ZYKLON, ANGEL CORPSE, KRISIUN, INFERNAL, IMMOLATION, BEHEMOTH, SADISTIC INTENT, SOUL REAPER, IN AETERNUM, and CENTURIAN ofcourse

"Liber ZarZax" has been recorded. All 11 songs turned out even better then we expected. We now only have to mix it to a good end. Release date still is set in September.

Try-out gig at Schagen went very well and we're ready for the big shows that are coming next weeks.

Rob and Oskar finished all guitar work for new "Liber ZarZax" Cd, except for solos's. Result is absolutely amazing. Next to the extreme fast guitar riffing you are used from Centurian, you'll now hear it worked out with two guitars............well, we heard it, but you have to wait for some months ha ha ha. Next is Jerry's turn to do his bass and vocal parts. More news..........later.

A little change of plans.........the new CD "Liber ZarZax" will have 11 songs instead of 9. We added an old song from the first mini-CD and also a complete new part. More details about this........ha ha ha ha later, when the CD has been released.

Tomorrow (May 12 th) we play the first gig with the new line-up.................!!

Finally help with the mail...........from now on Jerry will help me by answering mail and interviews. At this month he, and Oskar, are part of Centurian for four months and are well known with Centurian's music, lyrics, ideas and much more. This way we hope to answer everything faster than before.

All drums parts for new Centurian CD "Liber ZarZax" have been recorded last week. It was a HELL of a job and I lost 10 pounds during the sessions but it was all worth it. I recorded ten songs; nine new songs for the new CD and one old song from the "Of Purest Fire" mini-CD which we recorded again for other use. (we don't know yet for what purpose ha ha). Next one is Rob to record his guitarparts and later Oskar and Jerry will follow. Release date has been set in September and till now we are on schedule, not only with recordings but also with cover which is being made by Jacek Wisniewski etc. I'll try to make a studio report elsewere at this site. More about this later................

Once again I will mention that I have a hugh delay in answering my mail. Lots of people are waiting for answers to their mail but due to the hugh amount of work we have to do for the new CD and for the new gigs, I don't have much time this month. All mails and letters will be answered but it will take some time. People who do not understand this can suck their mother's cunt................................. I also want to say that I'm kind off fed up with all the people that write me for free stuff, get a job and pay like everybody else!!!!!

Centurian is getting ready for the first gigs with the new line-up. First gigs will take place in May between the recording sessions for the "Liber ZarZax" CD. There will also be a small clubtour through Holland, Belgium and Germany around September to promote the new "Liber ZarZAx" CD which will be released that month. For dates and places check the "Gigs" section. We are still looking for more gigs, contact us if you can help us out.

Jerry , the new Centurian Bassplayer/Vocalist will play a last gig with his former band "Zi Xul" at the Cameleon in Bussum (NL) at March 16. (This place used to be named: Obsessie). Oskar, the new Centurian guitarist will play there too, 'cause next to Centurian he also stays active in "Zi Xul". Together with Vomitory from Sweden, "Zi Xul" will rip this place apart. Be there.........

Centurian booked studio to recordthe new CD. Title will be "Liber ZarZax". See Chaos pages for explanation title. "Liber ZarZax" will have nine new songs in the known Centurian style. Some new song titles are: Beyond God; Colosseum of blood; Heading for Holocaust; Speech of the Serpent; Ritually Slaughtered for Satan. More details follow soon. I haven't been very active with mail and promotion last few weeks 'cause my wife and I got a son; Glenn. This took a great part of my time. People waiting for mail and/or answers will get them soon.

Only three weeks after Centurian decided to go on without the bassplayer and vocalist they found the perfect replacements: First came Jerry, the new frontman/bassplayer/singer, to takeover were Patrick and Seth left. He's a frontman with loads of experience and a great brutal voice. Second came Oscar, an additional guitarplayer, who is as brilliant and fast as Rob is. Both new members are also well known with our Chaos, Destruction and Satanic ideas and are perfect for the band. Centurian definetly has gained a lot of power by recruting these two. With this new line-up Centurian will start playing gigs in March/April 2001. The band is preparing a new serie of gigs in Europe, as well in the US. From April till June 2001 they will record the new CD. At this time there are no song/CD titles available but this will come soon, cause all music and lyrics are ready and Centurian is ready for a new attack on humanity...........

Centurian plans for next year.
Inspite of the changes in the band, centurian will continue as planned 'cause we are very confident about finding a new Bassplayer/singer very soon The new CD which we will record for listenable Records will be recorded in 2001. All music and lyrics are ready and we are working on artwork and lay-out right now. Also concerts and tours planned for 2001 will also continue as scheduled. If we haven't found a new member around that time we get a little help by some friends. So, it maybe will be a little silent in the coming weeks, but the storm after this will be stronger as ever before.

Changes in the Centurian line-up…
This week, Centurian has decided to move on without Bassplayer Patrick and Singer Seth. Both are much more involved in their other band and because of that their time available for Centurian was very limited. Rob and me; Guitar and drums, continue Centurian and are looking for one new member. More about this later. Inspite of this split the sound and style of Centurian will not change much, 'cause since the beginning of Centurian back in 1997 Rob and I together took care of all music, lyrics, artwork and other work for the band. We see their departure as a step forwards 'cause we are very positive about finding a new member soon who will reinforce Centurian to be stronger as ever before. However; we stay very close friends with Patrick and Seth and both our bands will support eachother in the years to come. Maybe we even can do more gigs together now we don't have members playing in both bands anymore

Dwell records seems to have released a Morbid Angel Tribute CD with a Centurian track on it…. Great, but Centurian didn't know anything about it ?????
If we knew about this, we would record the song again and this time on a much better way. Anyway, inspite of this there are very good reactions coming in; more about this later.

Centurian is very busy preparing the new CD. Most of the songs and lyrics are ready.
Some new song titles are: "The Stench Of Salvation" "Sensibly Sacrificed" "Beyond God"
"Forever Forgotten" and "For The Glory Of Satan".
