Bonanza and Little Joe

Hey!, I AM a professional model you know! (Bonanza)

Bonanza (the macho) is a big Albino ferret who is 1 year old. I got him from a good breeder. Bonanza actualy is a "Macho wannabe". He would like to be the big, strong man, but meanwhile he thinks everything is okay. Bonanza however has one disatvantage, he love's it to bite in people's heels, especially strange people. So I can't trust him completly.

Bonanza Update! (6 Oct. 2000)

The incredible has happend!, Bonanza gives me kisses!. At first I thought he was making a mistake, but he keeps on doing it. He seems to love doing it to. What an unexpected and very loving surprise.

Bonanza was born on May 18th 1999.

Hellooooooooo!!! (Little Joe)

Little Joe (the goodguy) was found on the streets at Christmas '99. A thin, small, bag of bones. It is a Sable Color Male with White feet, about 1 year old. Little Joe turned out to be the sweetest ferret of The Gang. He allowes everything, he thinks anything goes. He is very happy and is dooking all the time. Little Joe wil alway's be special to me. The day my sweet Max died, was the day Little Joe was found. Christmas eve.

Little Joe was about 5 months old when he was found, so I put his date of birth on August 1st 1999.

Bonanza & Little Joe Update!
(20 okt. 2001)

Bonanza and Little Joe for some time now have trouble with their Analglands. They get glogged up, need to be emptied by the Vet and get infected. After this had happend for the 6th time within 2,5 months, my Vet and I decided to have their Analglands removed. It is ILLIGAL to remove their analglands in the Netherlands, UNLESS there is a medical reason, as is the case here. It is not at al needed to remove a healthy pair of analglands. A GOOD Vet wil refuse to do this operation unless there is a good reason for it.  On Wednesday October 24th, Both Bonanza en Little Joe will be operated upon. I will be present at both operation, I will keep you posted on their progress.

Bonanza and Little Joe Update
(3 nov. 2001)

Bonanza and Little Joe have been operated. It al went just fine for Little Joe, he's jumping around like nothing ever happend again. Bonanza on the other hand had more trouble. He was so wild that the wound kept on bleeding. He had to be operated again to stop the bleeding. 2 day's later however, the wound tore open. and the flesh started to "rot" very fast. Stitching it again was out of the question now. So for a week and a halve now, Bonanza had a horrible looking open wound and i get to soak his behind in a bath with special soap. He is making progress though. The wound is looking better and the flesh is truning pink again. We will keep you posted on his progress.

There are now photo's to be seen of Little Joe's suregery. WARNING: Some people found the photo's shokking because of the blood!
